Summary | 0000158: lossless transfrom bypass with 4:2:0 or 4:2:2 doesn't decode correctly
Description | Running the 3 foreman files with lossless transform bypass enabled. In all 3 cases, the encoder-generated test_rec.yuv matches the input as expected. In the 4:4:4, the decoder-generated test_dec.yuv matches test_rec.yuv In both the 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 cases, test_dec.yuv does not match test_rec.yuv, this is the failure. If lossless transform bypass is turned off, test_dec.yuv matches test_rec.yuv, as expected, for all 3 cases. (Of course, it is not lossless.) The encoder.cfg file for the 4:2:0 case is attached.

Looking at the trace_dec.txt file, there is no AC Chroma information in the 264 file (and the DC Chroma looks too simple). So, this is likely an encoder issue, not a decoder issue. |
|
In the 4:0:0 case, test_dec.yuv does not match test_enc.yuv as well. |
