| Description | Hi I've tried to make some tests with JM Decoder, as the stream passed a error channel, and after that i've tried to use the decoder with frame copy for the process of recovering the video. With the video errors, i've tried to decode the stream and i received the message error: "Assertion failed: conceal_from_picure!=NULL" I would like to have more suggestions and a opinion from the people about sites, books, every info, about the source code because sometimes it's very hard to understand... The copy error concealment is known to contain bugs. Any suggestions for fixing it are welcome. |

My research work is related with error concealment techniques in 3D video. I improved the frame loss detection of the decoder, therefore, it is able to detect the missing frames, when the Stereo High profile is used. I implemented the frame-copy and motion-copy for 3D based on the 2D video implementation. I also implemented an efficient method for 3D video based on a disparity compensated motion field that I recently described in the 3DTV-Conference 2012. I am working at the JM reference software version 18.3 I could adapt my coding so it can be added to the current version of the JM reference software. Are you interested? |

Hi all, I also noticed there are bugs if error concealment is enabled in the decoder configuration, whatever 1 or 2 is set. jfmcarreira?would you please send me an bug-fixed version?My email is yuailian[at]gmail.com |
