I don't think we need every MMCO command implemented in the encoder. It's hard to provide a usable user interface to specify these commands. And automatic modes are always somewhat limited. Also somebody would need to specify an algorithm that shall be implemented. |

Yes I agree with you. But in some cases we need bitstreams which are having only mmco 2, 3 or 6 command. In JM17.2, I just hard coded manually and able to generate bitstreams which are having mmco 2, 3, and 6 commands in MVC Stereo High Profile case. But it was not automatic. With some effort, I hope we can make it automatic and able to support all the mmco commands in the encoder. |
