| Description | I am trying to generate a stream having SI and SP slices. I am able to obtain SP slices but cant get SI slices in the encoded stream. Wat can be doe about it .. thanks in advance | ||||

SI frames are not implemented in the encoder. Mostly because there was not enough interest for them. Feel free to contribute the necessary code. |

I found the same problem too, which version of JM did you use? I used JM 10.2. |

I used JM 14.0. |

I modified "encoder.cfg" but didn't generate the expected SI slices, Is it possible that JM didn't implement this function in the encoder? ---to suehring. Maybe I should read the source code first. |

They did not implement it in their code. |

to tiet_cd: Are you sure that JM din not implement this function of generating SI slices in the encoder of all its versions? I really need an assured answer. Thanks in advance. |
